Lori G. Levin Informs Other Lawyers How to Pursue DCFS Administrative Appeals

Recently, I spoke at an Illinois State Bar Association Continuing Legal Education program on Pursuing a DCFS Administrative Appeal. I provided case law and tips to other attorneys who are interested in successfully representing their clients when they are indicated by the Department of Children and Family Services for allegations of abuse or neglect. It was my pleasure to help other lawyers with information on how to handle these specialized hearings.
In this blog, https://https://www.lorilevinlaw.com/blog/pursuing-a-dcfs-administrative-appeal/, I have posted regarding such administrative actions. It is important that parents, persons who work with children and others who are indicated by DCFS, wishing to appeal an indication of abuse and neglect, do so in a timely manner and assisted by knowledgeable counsel. When a person is indicated, they are placed on DCFS’ Central Registry. This placement can have profound impact on the lives of those indicated.
