Client receives relief in DCFS Administrative Appeal

Today, I received a decision that another of my clients won his administrative appeal challenging the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services’ finding of neglect. In this case, the administrative law judge found that the evidence did not support a finding that he had medically neglected his child.  He will be removed from DCFS’ Central Registry. The Department maintains a registry for persons indicated for abuse or neglect. I am pleased that I was able to secure justice for him and an expunction of the record.
