American Bar Association Annual Meeting

The American Bar Association is holding its Annual Meeting in Chicago. As the former Assistant Secretary and Vice-Chair for Continuing Legal Education of its Criminal Justice Section, I am pleased that the convention is in my home town. Yesterday, I attended a continuing legal education program on the historic treason trial of Iva Toguri, Tokyo Rose, who was convicted and later pardoned by President Gerald Ford. I also attended the Criminal Justice Section’s reception. I plan on attending the Section’s Council Meeting as well as other continuing legal education programs.
